Hocking River! We have trips for
every type of experience
level-from quiet family outings
to day-long trips for seasoned
paddlers. Scout groups, church
organizations and company groups
are always welcome! Below are
trips prices and descriptions.
Paddling time is always
approximate. Rates are based on
two adults and two children (10
and under) in a canoe. A third
person is an additional charge
of $15. Prices include paddles,
lifejackets, transportation,
safety instruction, and service
from an experienced and friendly
staff.

1 - Crockett's Run to Livery
(5 mi 1-2

Tubing-$12(4-5 Hours)
Crockett's Run is ideal for
beginners, families with young
children or those who want a
short outing on the Hocking
River. This five mile stretch is
regularly cleared from trees and
limbs to make a smooth and
enjoyable ride. This trips
offers secluded scenery (hills,
sandbars, rock formations, etc)
and the opportunity to see the
abundant wildlife (deer,
turtles, beavers, carp, and
small mouth fish).

2 - Natural Rockbridge to Livery
(8 mi 2-3 Hours 9am-3pm)

This is our most popular trip
because it gives you the
opportunity to visit the
magnificent Natural Rockbridge!
Our drop off is directly across
the river from this magnificent
natural landscape. The Natural
Rockbridge is made off BlackHand
Sandstone which had been carved
out through centuries of
erosion. The near by town of
Rockbridge bears its name from
the formation. This trip is also
popular since the old Hocking
Canal can be viewed on route to
our destination. Trip II is
perfect for those who want more
time on the Hocking to enjoy the
spectacular and undeveloped
landscapes.

3 - Clear Creek to Livery

Clear Creek to Livery offers the
best of the uncrowded upper
section of the Hocking River.
The upper section of the Hocking
is full of rock formations and
river contributaries. This trip
can be easily stretched into a
leisurely all day paddle past
the Natural Rockbridge and
Rockbridge nature preserves.
Clear Creek to Livery departs on
the hour from 9am-noon every
day.

4 Rush Creek to Livery
(17 mi 7-10 Hours Reservations)

Rush Creek
to Livery is an excellent
overnight trip. Our overnight
trip is unique because our
campground is located half way
between the Rush Creek drop-off
and the Canoe Livery. This means
you can set up camp before you
start, saving you the hassle of
carrying loads of equipment in
the canoe! The trip is
approximately 4-5 hours of
canoeing the first day and 4-5
hours the second day. Price
includes camping at or
campground. Reservations
required.
We-no-nah
and Old Town Canoes
To maximize your experience with
Hocking Valley Canoe Livery we
use only "Northforks" from
We-no-nah and "Discovery" canoes
from Old Town. Discovery canoes
are available in 158, 169, and
174. Both models are agile,
stable, comfortable and easy to
handle. Model size can be
requested upon arrival and
availability. Above is the
current model of the Discovery.
